How does the countdown work?
Choose your birthday month and day. The tool selects the first annual birthday on or after the reference date.
For example, March 7, 2027, is 146 days after October 12, 2026. January 1 is one day after December 31.
What happens with February 29?
In a common year, choose February 28 or March 1. In a leap year, the birthday remains February 29.
This is a celebration convention, not a legal rule. From February 28, 2023, the two choices give zero or one day remaining.
Dates, not hours
The reference starts with today on your device. The initial HTML uses October 12, 2026, as an example reference.
The tool counts whole Gregorian dates from 1600 through 9999. Daylight-saving changes do not add or remove calendar days.
This is not a live clock. Change the reference date if the page stays open overnight. Results beyond year 9999 are unavailable.
